What's the easiest way to edit video in Snagit 11?

Captured a video and need to cut it down. Thanks!

Usually the Snag It Editor will have all your recent captures at the bottom in a gallery. You can usually open them from there to do basic edits like trim/cut length. They have many helpful how to's and tutorials on their site as well. For more in depth editing I use their other software, Camtasia.

You can trim the video once you have captured it using the green and red flags on the slider at the bottom of the screen. You can trim the start and end of the video and then save to just save that portion. If you want to edit out parts in the middle you can select the space between the green and red flags and click 'cut'.

As soon as you complete your capture, the editing tools should become available. On the timeline of the video, you should see a downward pointing arrow. The left side of the arrow is green and the right side of the arrow is red - these are your in and out points. To trim off the end of the video, place the red arrow at the end of the timeline and place the green arrow at the point you would like to cut from. Click the portion of the timeline between the arrows and then click Cut.
