The way ratings are calculated 25% the past 30 days, 25% the past year, 50% all time. If you don't succeed in getting a review in any given 30 days, you are automatically given a 3-star. This makes it very difficult for businesses with a small clientele to maintain their rating and undoes the good work they've already done.
