Fellow Vor- und Nachteile

I had never been exposed to a tool like Fellow before joining my current business, which I have been at for less than a year. During this period, Fellow has saved me a lot of hassle many times when I have needed to confirm decisions that were made at a meeting. I like the fact that it captures a video record of the entire meeting -- but I don't have to listen to the whole thing because the video is usefully segmented into chapters for me, which are given meaningful titles and are accompanied by a written summary. Sometimes just the written summary is enough and I don't even have to view the video. I also have the option of skimming through the transcript of the video instead of viewing. Fellow also does a decent job of capturing action items, including ones that I had neglected to capture myself. The talking points/action items/notepad text interface is also very useful. Sometimes we use it to add Talking Points to the meeting in real time -- I also like the fact that talking points can have their own bullet lists so you can get granular about what needs to be discussed. Most helpfully, I use it to capture items that I want to discuss in a future meeting -- I keep Fellow running at all times, so if something suddenly comes up that I want to remember to add to the agenda for a meeting next week, I can easily capture it in the moment; I find this very useful. The ability to assign action items to various meeting attendees allows me to easily keep track of who is responsible for what, including myself. We also use Fellow notes for meeting that don't even "take place" -- ie, mulitple team members providing asynchronous updates on the status of particular projects. That means that even meetings that don't physically take place are captured, if that makes sense. We use Google Meet at my organization, and Fellow integrates into it pretty seemlessly. If I'm being honest, the meeting details that are captured by the Fellow AI are not always 100 percent perfect. But they are reasonably close enough from my perspective. Also, sometimes someone will share with me the Fellow notes from a meeting I wasn't at, and I don't have the ability to access the notes. I suppose this is a good thing from a security perspective, but it's a minor nuisance. Also the error message that comes up in these cases is basically a 404 Page Not Found error that says "Uh oh, we couldn't find this item" which doesn't help the user understand what is happening and what to do to fix it (ie, you don't have permission to view the meeting notes and you need the owner of the meeting to grant that to you before the link will work. Fellow has seamless intergrations with Google Meet. Which is the primary method of our business' remote work culture.

Most of my work is internally-facing, having daily slack reminders for pending action items is helpful.

I end up using it in nearly every call. I even ask colleague to take notes within the application.

Two items:

1. Fellow does not work well with Zoom. While it works near perfectly with G Meet, zoom is not nearly as seamless.

2. Ability to re-size the application window. This is a small quibble, but I like smaller application screens. There's no way to re-size the application text so I end up pushing it around my screen during meetings. We're still encountering lots of bugs, especially when collaborating across workspaces; notes are dissappearing; once in a while a team member can't access a shared meeting note.

Fellow is an amazing tool that allows you to plan your meeting schedule, topics of discussion, and follow up for every different topic - all in one place. Easy to use to capture decisions, next steps, and previous discussions & questions. Love that it syncs with Outlook. The AI helper looks very promising to help with minutes!

This tool has been excellent in helping keep different topics organzied and accessible to the whole team - with links to the latest content, next steps and action items. Everyone knows where to look, and all the information is avaible in one place.

I love that fellow is connected to Google Calendar and that the agendas can be collaboratively added to by all guests. The ease of using the app is fantastic and something all our staff members can do despite varying levels of tech savviness. I use Fellow every day and have found the ways it can house our OKRs and information from internal and external meetings really useful. I also think the privacy and security is great and we've had no issues with that in our company.

Die Vorlagen haben unsere Meetings fokussiert und auf den Punkt gebracht. Es ist so einfach, Aufgaben zu verfolgen, die erledigt werden müssen, sowie die Gesprächspunkte für das bevorstehende Meeting an der richtigen Stelle zu platzieren. So oft hatte ich Punkte, die ich in einem bevorstehenden 1-zu-1-Gespräch besprechen wollte, und jetzt weiß ich, wo ich sie aufschreiben kann. Ich habe auch alle meine Meetings automatisch aufgezeichnet und in die Notizen eingebettet, was alles für mein Team vereinfacht. Jeder Kunde hat seinen eigenen Stream, sodass wir alle Meetings und Notizen mit externen Kunden für alle im Unternehmen zugänglich/nachverfolgbar halten können, falls erforderlich.

Wir verwenden auch deren Zielabschnitt, um unsere vierteljährlichen Ziele zu verfolgen. Ich kann die Q-Ziele problemlos in unsere Vorlagen einfügen, um sie zu besprechen. Super einfach, über mehrere Abteilungen hinweg zu verfolgen und die Sichtbarkeit zu haben, um alle unsere Unternehmensziele an einem Ort zu sehen.

Einige der Automatisierungen fehlen. Wenn es ein Meeting mit einem externen Benutzer gibt, erkennt Fellow es als ein neues Meeting und nicht als Teil eines Streams. Außerdem möchte ich benutzerdefinierte Standardvorlagen pro Teammitglied/Abteilung haben, anstatt eine Standardvorlage für das gesamte Unternehmen.
