Wir mussten nur 10 Einheiten vom Alto 3 und 4 migrieren und haben sie auf den Siris 5X umgestellt... Der Umgang mit dem Kundensupport ist einfach... Ich vermisse es, mit den Leuten in Rochester und Norwalk zu sprechen... Aber das Team in Florida war großartig... Ich bin jeden Tag dabei, um zu überprüfen, wie die Dinge für alle Geräte, die wir haben, laufen... Es ist einfach, wenn man die Statusseite überprüft... Man sieht alle wichtigen Dinge, die man braucht... Aber im GUI gibt es eine detailliertere Menge an Informationen... Einfachheit und Bequemlichkeit sind großartig... Eines der besten Dinge ist die Tatsache, wie man bei Bedarf virtuelle Server betreiben kann... Ich musste virtuelle Server auf beiden Gerätetypen betreiben... Alto als webbasierter virtueller Server, so schön es zu haben ist, aber so brutal langsam zum Arbeiten... Jetzt, mit dem Siris 5X und höher; man kann seinen virtuellen Server direkt von seinem Gerät aus betreiben, es läuft nur ein wenig langsamer als der normale Server (je nachdem, was man bereits hat), aber die Tatsache, dass dies mit den Siris-Einheiten kommt, ist ein großartiger Vorteil. Außerdem haben die Serie 5 jetzt ein unabhängiges Laufwerk für ihr Betriebssystem und ein separates Laufwerk für Ihre Daten, das ist großartig. I really like the user interference. It is quite easy to navigate in the datto and access the tools and check the backups . And also the support is very helpful , whenever we get stuck on some issue , they are always available to help . Also the implementation of Datto is veru wasy . The features available in datto are numerous which is way more than any other backup solution. And i use it on daily basis . So overall the datto is very easy to use and integrate. The product works and is simple to use and maintain. Above all, when someone needs a restore, the product works. The portal is easily checked. If there are any issues (VERY rarely) Datto's tech support is by far the best in the industry - I've been a computer tech for over 30 years and have dealt with hundreds of vendors and support. I can't stress this enough, DATTO SUPPORT IS THE BEST BY FAR.

Making a backup is not hard, making sure it succeeded and can be restored if need be is another story. With Datto SIRIS you know if a backup is made and an automatic restore test is done. If that fails you are alerted and can act upon it or let it be fixed automatically.

Sometimes it can be hard to determine the required settings or steps to fix a failing backup or restore, not some much a problem with SIRIS but more because of all the different hardware/software combinations supported.
Linux restore takes more manual steps and is less obvious than the Windows restore process.

It works. SIRIS devices are great. On-premises virtualization works as promised. Secure cloud storage for off-site works great.
