I do not say this about many of the tools I use for my web development but I can say without doubt that BrowserStack is the oldest and most appreciated one of my tools that I cannot live without. The reason is simple - I want to know my code works on multiple clients. There's only so much that emulation does. These guys are geniuses. In fact - it is like having my very own hyper-focused "attention to detail" obsessed colleague. Instead of asking someone to test these pages over and over with each release, BrowserStack will take a screenshot of the page on all the devices I want, and not some emulated device but a REAL mobile or tablet or whatever, running on such a version. It's insane to think of selling a web application as a product without using BrowserStack.

I love:

* the instant availability of devices to screenshot with

* the automation of my testing (unit, integration, functional, etc)

* speed of the devices

* quick to learn

I work as a Contractor meaning that I will work on a project for 9 months (as an example) and then might be 2-3 months before a new contract. I can go straight into another project, but the cost is significant enough that I will either cancel my subscription or just delete it.

I would like it if I had a balance that could work with me around this sort of thing - maybe switch to an option where I can run some of the basic tests or have so much credit bought with each payment, and I could scale this back when not using BrowserStack? Been using the App Live feature for a couple of years now.

Under this time the feature has been always available. I don't remember any downtime.

Sessions stability is great and barely faced any issue or disconnection while working on testing apps.

It's pretty straightforward to upload an app and start working, it only takes a few clicks so the usability is good.

In terms of responsiveness, which is something really important when working with real devices, it barely affects user experience and you can work with the app without major delays. I have tested other tools in the market and faced slowness that made it hard to work. This hasn't been the case with BrowserStack.

To be able to test different versions iOS apps on different types and versions of iOS device on App Live. It is very troublesome to compile iOS packages and then deploy them to TestFlight and then have to wait for approval again before I can test the iOS app. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

The session timeout is rather fast. I may be doing some modifications to the codes half way through testing and then when I get back to the testing, the session timed out and I will need to restart the whole process of uploading the app and starting the device again. I am dealing more with react-native apps, so it will definitely be helpful if I can inspect element or event have a console to view all the debug outputs. I like how it gives you multiple options on different browsers that you can test out different models of phones different just overall the different trials you can perform makes you get a better understanding of the differences between products and browsers software when you're putting a team together to work say like in the mining field like I am a mining prospector it would be good if everybody could easily integrate to the system that you want to use for your company

The ability to test browsers as well as applications in one system is amazing. It makes testing on IOS Android and Windows as easy as just selecting a browser. I can now have anyone on my team go to BrowserStack and test any of our products. Their customer support and technical support staff are amazing and quick to answer any questions. Ich kannte BrowserStack vor Dezember 2024 nicht. Im Dezember arbeitete ich an einem meiner Projekte und in diesem Moment benötigte ich dringend ein MacBook, aber ich versuchte, ein alternatives System zu finden, um ein MacBook zu nutzen, anstatt es zu kaufen. Danach suchte ich auf Google und schließlich fand ich BrowserStack. Es ist wirklich zuverlässig, schneller, kostengünstig, unglaublich und hat unbegrenzte Funktionen. Ich fand es sehr nützlich für meine Arbeit. Das Support-Team ist sehr freundlich und sie antworten schneller als andere. Als ich es benutzte, funktionierte es reibungslos, selbst wenn ich es täglich benutze, um meine Arbeit zu beschleunigen. The device farm that BS has setup and the UI to access devices in the farm is responsive and rarely seems to fail which is a far cry from other platforms with similar solutions. The way that all different permutations of devices are laid out makes testing straight forward and a joy.
