As nice as it was in fighting malware it frequently misidentified websites and even if you whitelisted them it still caused issues. It also caused issues with some applications on my computer where it would cause them to stop working properly.
Trend Micro Security was an excellent security platform that protected my Macbook Pro from threats without utilizing a tremendous amount of processing power.
It was however time consuming when trying to install on certain versions of Mac OS. The older version such as Yosemite would have to restart/reboot multiple times before the software installed.
