The main thing I like about Mint is, that it is very user-friendly and customisable, most of the useful apps are preinstalled in the OS, and the Software Manager is also really good.

Developed se by the ONION TOR Team with plenty of support material provided on their homepage - makes it easy for people to get started using it. Moreover, this is a light OS to take with you on your travels in a simple USB stick.
