Extremely lightweight, fast. Awesome in-built editing. crop, annotate, copy. This is completely un-biased review. I tried a few expensive paid screen capture software, and I fell in love with Faststone Capture. Awesome video capture too.
It is difficult to find something negative, however we can say that it would be convenient that the program has support for several languages, since it only has very few, limiting the scope of the application.

When I used in the past, it seemed like setting up the defaults (hotkeys, etc) was more work than it was worth - especially seeing that most computers have native screenshot capture features and at least a baseline image editor.
