AI Generated Summary
AI-generated. Powered by real user reviews.
  • Users report that AWS Certificate Manager excels in "Automated Certificate Operations," with a score of 9.2, making it easier for teams to manage certificates without manual intervention. In contrast, Let's Encrypt, while free, may require more manual setup and management, which some users find cumbersome.
  • Reviewers mention that Let's Encrypt shines in "Issuance Speed," scoring 9.2, allowing users to obtain certificates almost instantly. AWS Certificate Manager, while efficient, does not match this speed, which can be a deciding factor for users needing quick deployments.
  • G2 users highlight the "Quality of Support" for Let's Encrypt, scoring an impressive 9.8, indicating that users feel well-supported. Conversely, AWS Certificate Manager received a lower score of 8.6, suggesting that users may experience delays or less comprehensive support.
  • Users on G2 note that AWS Certificate Manager offers robust "Policy And Role-Based Access Controls" with a score of 8.7, which is crucial for organizations needing strict security protocols. Let's Encrypt lacks this level of control, which may be a drawback for larger enterprises.
  • Reviewers mention that AWS Certificate Manager's "Expiration Monitoring" feature, scoring 8.1, helps users stay ahead of certificate renewals, although it could be improved. Let's Encrypt does not provide built-in expiration monitoring, which can lead to potential downtime if users forget to renew their certificates.
  • Users say that while both products support "Domain Validation," AWS Certificate Manager scores 8.2, indicating a more streamlined process compared to Let's Encrypt, which some users find less intuitive, especially for those unfamiliar with DNS configurations.
