Very fast and responsive. The embedded view of the attached pictures is a nice additional feature. Also the 3 panel view provides flexibility and a good overview over your inbox.
Should support more control panels than just cPanel and Plesk.
I used to use Thunderbird Portable for my email. It was nice, but not every computer I interacted with allowed me to load even a portable app. Additionally, some companies block services like gmail. Having a self-hosted web-based email client is a godsend....
I don't like how Rainloop has low community support when it comes to plugins. Wish there could be much more features with the communities help but there isn't.
