What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Starting out with Tinkercad, I found it super easy to create and implement 3D designs. The drag-and-drop tools made it a breeze to build whatever I imagined. Plus, the interface is so friendly—I quickly got the hang of shape generators and text tools. And when I got stuck, the tutorials and community were there to guide me through, helping me learn the ropes of 3D printing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

I did not like the limited complexity of designs I could create, some of the tools were too basic for my needs. Also some hardware components were missing which led to some incomplete circuit designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tinkercad solves the problem of complexity in 3D modeling for beginners by offering intuitive tools and a user-friendly interface. This benefits me by making it easy to create 3D prints and circuit designs without the need for extensive prior experience or technical skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very speedy conceptualisation of design.

Illustration of design concepts.

Exportation of designs as STL for 3D printing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Ease of use. I like the graphics, the simulation of the established circuit's operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Easy to implement, although it looks very sophisticated, it should incorporate more visual aid elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

With this program, I had a good experience, although in general, to set up the design of a circuit, we must know very well what we need to interconnect; otherwise, it will seem like we are repeating the experiment without its theoretical foundation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I accidentally discovered TinkerCAD on a 3D printing forum. I was immediately blown away by how easy it was to setup the account and get started. It stores designs on the cloud which can be accessed from anywhere. The tool are simple and intuitive to access. You can even import files from other softwares and incorporate into your own design. Specially for regular 3D printing folks its a everyday tool that cannot be looked over, its literally like making LEGOs. Its fun to use, and is functional. If you get stuck, there's also a very nice forum with a very nice community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

For some applications it is too simple, some of the tools that you might need for advanced stuff is missing too. I use it regularly so I sometimes have to contact support, but the response is not always great. But its free. I can live with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

3D design & modelling. To design and fab fastners, support member and stuff. Also used for cloud storage of models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad satisfies all your requirements when it comes to Arduino Programming. It is so simple to use and provides all the components that you would need to make your circuit. The interface is smooth and user friendly. You can create basic to complex circuits in Tinkercad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

There's not much to be disliked in Tinkercad but, there could be more types of sensors included in the components. They can also add new types of Arduino being made in their collection to increase variability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tinkercad helps me design Arduino circuits without having to buy expensive Arduino boards and circuit components. I can do it all for free in the real time simulation which Tinkercad provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

What I like about TinkerCad is that I can simulate the code and compontents of the Arduino without implementing it on the physical way. We can test the functions and the circuits by the simulation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

What I dislike about Tinkercad is that other hardware components are not found in the tools and equipments, which ultimatly lead to not finising the Circuits and Design Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Tinkercad, i usualaly test my design in real world which causes of destroying the actual parts by short circuiting and sometimes can cause delays in implementing the project because i have to wait for the product to arrive just to test if my code and designs works. What do you like best about Tinkercad?

As an Audio Teaching Assistant, I use Tinkercad to create visual interpretations of audio product ideas that spring-to-mind, such as speaker designs. Having initially been introduced to Tinkercad during my higher education, I have continued to use it through my current work. As an online CAD program for 3D design, Tinkercad is incredibly easy-to-use, and is free-of-charge.

Tinkercad allows you to model both simple and more complex designs, of which, can then be downloaded for 3D printing (.STL or .OBJ) or laser cutting (.SVG). Tinkercad also gives you the abilty to draw circuits, as well as join online classrooms, these of which are further excellent features - making Tinkercad great for a learning environment, and a great introduction to the world of CAD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

When working on product design using Tinkercad, maneuvering around the 3D model and precisely placing shapes to the correct dimensions can be quite challenging at first. Therefore, it can take a while to get used to the interface for 3D modelling. Although, once familiar with the software, it is very fun to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tinkercad makes for a great introduction into the world of CAD, being fun to experiment and learn with. Tinkercad additionally has the option to set-up online classrooms, making for a great tool to teach the basics of CAD drawing and 3D modelling. I have used Tinkercad for designing a few basic product ideas of my own, and find it to be very fun to use, and easy to navigate. Tinkercad is free-of-charge, making it easily accessible for those who want to design or pick up a new skill. I continue to conceptualise ideas using Tinkercad as it is easy to bring product ideas to life, with my most recent design being for a speaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

We really liked its easy and straightforward handling since for someone with little experience in design and preparation for 3D printing, it is very easy. It works very well for making geometric pieces that are not very complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

For us, it is very basic, we believe it lacks more tools to be more professional, for an advanced level it falls short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us with less complex parts and basic things, and since you don't have to download the program as it works online, it saves us space. It was also very good for us when teaching due to its ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My experience with Tinkercad has been wonderful. It is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool, which saves time and is excellent for beginners. Its extensive library of shapes and complex designs allows for streamlining the creation of designs, especially circuits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

I really don't have specific areas of opportunity regarding Tinkercad. However, I think its user interface could be mentioned, which from my perspective is somewhat outdated, making it feel strange to design at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tinkercad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tinkercad solves the problems of technical complexity by offering an intuitive interface for 3D design. As a user, it benefits me by providing access to a wide library of customizable shapes and objects, streamlining my creative process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
