"Intuitive, Free, and Perfect for Beginners"
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I like that Tinkercad is free, high quality, and easy to use for first timers. Its accessible and easy-to-use design makes it very approachable and effective, especially for beginners. I find the drag and drop shapes, grouping, and align tools very useful because they make designing quick, simple, and accurate. The intuitive interface and easy setup process, which involves just creating an account with no downloads or complex configurations, are also appealing. These features helped my team switch from Fusion 360 because Tinkercad is simpler, faster, and easier to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad can be limited for complex designs, precise modeling, and large projects, which can slow performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Absolutely Love This Software!"
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I used Tinkercad during high school and for my graduation project. The platform is extremely user-friendly, making it ideal for beginners who want to learn 3D design. I appreciate that it is web-based, which makes it easy to access from anywhere, and it really helps with quickly visualizing both mechanical and electronic projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Some advanced tools and features are limited compared to professional CAD software. It’s not ideal for complex mechanical projects or detailed assemblies, but it’s still very good for basic modeling and learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for student rapid prototyping and simulation"
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

The selection of electronic and electrical components as well as the ability to simulate Arduino code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Not as many components as Fritzing though this is overcome by the simulation ability. Student work organization is messy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent for creating 3D designs and Arduino simulation."
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Starting out with Tinkercad, I found it super easy to create and implement 3D designs. The drag-and-drop tools made it a breeze to build whatever I imagined. Plus, the interface is so friendly—I quickly got the hang of shape generators and text tools. And when I got stuck, the tutorials and community were there to guide me through, helping me learn the ropes of 3D printing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

I did not like the limited complexity of designs I could create, some of the tools were too basic for my needs. Also some hardware components were missing which led to some incomplete circuit designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent interface for designing and testing circuits."
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Ease of use. I like the graphics, the simulation of the established circuit's operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Easy to implement, although it looks very sophisticated, it should incorporate more visual aid elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easiest CAD software to learn & use."
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I accidentally discovered TinkerCAD on a 3D printing forum. I was immediately blown away by how easy it was to setup the account and get started. It stores designs on the cloud which can be accessed from anywhere. The tool are simple and intuitive to access. You can even import files from other softwares and incorporate into your own design. Specially for regular 3D printing folks its a everyday tool that cannot be looked over, its literally like making LEGOs. Its fun to use, and is functional. If you get stuck, there's also a very nice forum with a very nice community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

For some applications it is too simple, some of the tools that you might need for advanced stuff is missing too. I use it regularly so I sometimes have to contact support, but the response is not always great. But its free. I can live with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
