"The Worst Customer Experience in SaaS History"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The concept is neat enough, combine ZoomInfo and a tool like Salesloft/Outreach into one. Great for any scaling company who wants to kill two large birds with one stone. They also have some other useful features like call recording (Gong), scheduling (Chili Piper). Of course each individual piece might not be as strong as any of the individual tools, but when you combine all into one, it's easy for sales reps to live in just one tool for everything sales related. The only thing they don't have is a CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The customer service is literally the worst I've ever experienced in tech, likely because they are scaling so fast. It is unimaginably bad. Like worse than Comcast, and I'm sadly not even joking. At least Comcast will resolve your issue after hours of pain. I've been going back and forth with this team for about 6 months now and they still refuse to dedicate even one resource to solving my issue, namely that when I dial, their dialer stops working randomly. This happens relatively frequently, it used to happen once a week. It hadn't happened for a few weeks so I got cozy and assumed they'd fixed it, but it just happened again. I thought hey I can submit another ticket, but what's the point, they literally won't help me. This rep who was "helping" kept making send screenshot after screenshot and video after video of the EXACT SAME ISSUE. Absurd. Frustrating. I could use more colorful words. So yeah, if you have any issues with Apollo, good luck. It's still good/neat tech, but I am at a loss of words for their abyssmal customer service. If I had the budget I'd piece together a bunch of other tools than deal with this. It's so painful to not be able to dial. Takes enough energy to muster the spirit to dial, and to have your tool not work. For some reason when I dial, it will say ringing, but it won't ring or make a sound. Happens all the time and I've tried their basic debugging tips like clearing cache and what not. Anyways, I would recommend this product if you absolutely need these tools and you don't have a budget to use others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apollo Streamlines Prospecting with an All-in-One Outbound Workflow"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo stands out for how quickly it turns prospecting into action. Instead of spending time jumping between tools for data, enrichment, and outreach, everything sits in one workflow. The ability to filter prospects by very specific criteria and immediately push them into sequences makes outbound efforts faster and more focused, especially for B2B teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

One downside is that not all contact data is consistently reliable across regions, which means occasional manual validation is still necessary. The platform also packs in a lot of functionality, so it can feel dense at first and take time to fully understand which features matter most for your use case. Some useful capabilities are also tied to higher plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apollo helped me closing 100+ deals in 2025"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo has become an essential part of my daily workflow. Whether I need to extract phone numbers and emails of prospects or gather information about an organization's tech stack, Apollo.io makes these tasks much more efficient. Running bulk campaigns is also seamless, and I appreciate that there is no noticeable latency—Apollo.io operates quickly and reliably. Apollo extension works really well. I have installed it with linkedin and browser. This gives me instant information about the companies I'm prospecting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

There isn't much to mention, but over the past month, I've noticed that some of the contact numbers provided were inaccurate. I encountered instances where the same name was listed, but it turned out to be a different person. This has unfortunately led to the loss of a few credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

One thing it can improve is to give direct numbers in mobile numbers of your profile persons so that I don't have to go for another to like a man food to get the direct number in mobile number because every time I see for dial numbers in Apollo it's just so the headquarters of his number and nothing else Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Prospecting Tools, But Data Accuracy and Usability Need Work"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The best thing of Apollo.io is how it combines a large, accurate B2B contact database with powerful prospecting and outreach tools in one platform. The advanced filtering makes it easy to find highly relevant leads, and the built-in email sequencing and CRM integrations streamline the entire sales workflow. It saves time on lead research, improves targeting, and helps teams move faster from prospecting to outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

What I dislike about Apollo.io is that data accuracy can sometimes vary, especially for smaller companies or non-US markets, which still requires manual verification. Some advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, and the interface can feel overwhelming at first due to the number of options and settings available. "Pricey Changes Diminish Value for Small Businesses"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I initially liked Apollo.io because it brought multiple outreach tools together at a great price for start-ups. It combined tools for website visits, identifying contacts, and doing outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

At present, Apollo.io is not a tool you should invest in if you don't have it already. The current goal seems to be to extract maximum revenue from customers. This meant taking parts of the existing functionality and charging it as an 'add on.' Most of the development is behind a paywall with extra charges, and in many cases, small businesses cannot benefit without buying multiple licenses. Apollo.io should review its approach for small businesses, especially those not based in the US. Currently, to use the dialing feature in the UK, you need to buy the next tier, but this is not available unless you purchase multiple licenses. So essentially, core functionality is not available to any SME outside of the US. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andy McCotter-Bicknell of Apollo.io

Thanks for the candid feedback. We appreciate you sharing what originally made Apollo valuable for your team.

We want to clarify a couple of points. You do not need to upgrade to a higher tier or purchase multiple seats to use the Dialer. A single-seat Basic plan can purchase the Dialer add-on independently, including for use outside the US. The add-on is priced as a flat fee rather than per-seat, which we believe is more accessible for small teams compared to many alternatives.

As Apollo has grown, we’ve invested heavily in features like inbound signals and dialing infrastructure, which come with real costs to operate and improve. Offering these as optional add-ons allows teams to pay only for what they need, while enabling us to continue investing in reliability and coverage.

Supporting small and international businesses remains important to us, and we regularly review pricing and packaging to keep Apollo accessible. If you’d like, our team is happy to walk through your setup and make sure you’re aware of all available options.

"Effortless Customer Targeting and Outreach with Powerful AI Features"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Finding the right customer for our product is straightforward and efficient. Reaching out and following up with the right customer at the right time is also easy and saves time. Scheduling the outreach and crafting the personalisation message with the help of ai is very much helpful for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The recent update feels quite heavy, but that hasn't stopped us from using it. Over time, we adapted, though at first we felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of features. I suppose that's actually a good thing a platform offering so many features at a reasonable price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Marketing Tool Packed with Features"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

One of the best modern tool with bunch of marketing features, it has replaced multiple tools for Data Mining, Email Marketing that we used to subscribe and will definitely be replacing one of the most costly CRM that we've been using for years. Our new team members were able to use it pretty quickly and have now started to use it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

we've observed around 75 to 80% data accuracy so far- which could have been better, also I would recommend Apollo to have its own email server Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Tool for Business Growth and Lead Generation"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What I appreciate most about Apollo.io is that it enables me to find leads that help my business grow. It offers access to a wide range of professional contact details, making it easy to reach out and connect with potential clients. For me, it serves as an extensive database that supports my business development efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The plans are quite expensive, costing around 59 dollars per month for just 2,500 credits. What's more, the credits are used up simply by viewing the lead's contact information, which makes it feel like you don't get much value for the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"easy to find contact from linkedin"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Recently I noticed Apollo.io has improved alot in data accuracy and filtering options. The enrichment feature is more better now and it helps us find relevent contacts based on job title and company size. Also the chrome extention works well with LinkedIn and makes lead saving faster then before. Overall it feels more stable and useful for daily prospecting work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Apollo.io is good overall but it can improve more on email accuracy sometime, few emails bounce. Also the UI feels little heavy when using large filters. It will be better if credit usage is more clear and real time. Apart from this support response time can be improve little bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
