TurnItIn simplifies the process of assigning, collecting, and grading written assignments. By distributing assignments digitally, it ensures that students have the ability to access essay information at any time, including in school, at home, on the bus, or wherever. Above all else, the ability to create preset feedback responses makes grading a breeze. The teaching assistant functionality is also beneficial, allowing users to assign a secondary instructor to add assignments, edit assignments, grade, and provide feedback to students.

Quick and Easy Grading

I use turnitin.com to check students work for any plagiarism first. I like that I can grade every piece of writing the students turn in. Another feature I like is that you can save comments which makes it faster to give feedback to the students on their work. Another one of my favorite things about this is that you can incorporate your rubric in the program, which it uses to help grade my students work. I also like the PeerMark feature which distributes the students work randomly to them for peer reviews.
