What do you like best about Gradescope?

I like being able to see the breakdown of how points are assigned to different components of each test question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gradescope?

However, this breakdown is only as helpful as the information entered by the instructor. If the explanations are insufficient, it becomes confusing trying to figure out how points were assigned. Sometimes there are upload issues as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gradescope solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ability to easily receive feedback from graders in a centralized system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gradescope?

I like that everything is in one place, that it is easy to submit, that you can assign pages to homework, and also the regrade and rubric functionality is great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gradescope?

There is not much to complain about, but sometimes the files are annoying to upload. It is also irritating to navigate e.g., clicking back takes you to the homepage instead of the course page. Additionally, if i want to reupload, i can't do so for a single question but must reupload the entire homework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gradescope solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sumbitting homework, having all graded work in all place, grading homework much easier and much faster, assigning specific questions to people easier, dealing with regrade requests. It is a holistic solution. It works so well that you don't even notice it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The website is great in general however it can be confusing as there is gradescope.ca and gradescope.com which makes a mixup between the two websites. The systems are different on both websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gradescope solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am solving the problem of submitting an online assignment during a pandemic where education switched to a virtual session, this gives a safe and accurate platform to the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gradescope?

I like that Gradescope is an easy software to use to turn in homework assignments. I have only used it in STEM-oriented courses, and generally, it does its job with an intuitive design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gradescope?

I'm not too fond of the fact that occasionally, I will upload my problem set, and it will not upload immediately. I find it frustrating when you are running up a deadline, and the software is slow or glitchy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gradescope solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am able to turn in homework easily, and when it does not glitch, I find it nice to have all the grades for a course in one collective place. I appreciate the feedback features more than the standard one on Courseworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
