The Onvio timekeeping function works pretty well and is the most robust that I have used. The document sidebar can be helpful from an organizational perspective, and the internal document management does what it says it will do.

One-Stop Shop for All Aspects of Law Firm Management

The docketing! While experienced support staff can tell you in a heartbeat the difference between answer deadlines in district court vs. state court, how many times are those experienced people RUSHING and MULTI-TASKING to get these things docketed? Multi-tasking is just a euphemism for About to Overlook Something, often creating inadvertent errors of omission or inaccuracy. Rules sets updated by Thompson Reuters give me the confidence that, despite that 15th update to the local rules in the Middle District of Somewhere, I am still conforming to court requirements. The ability to create custom dockets to ensure adherence to our firm's best practices creates a smooth path to doing the right thing, every time. It also allows us to meet our clients' litigation reporting and billing requirements with consistency, which seems to make them pretty happy. Oh, and you can do all the other stuff in ProLaw, too. Firm billing, firm A/P, timekeeping, reporting, marketing - it's all built right in.
