I was first shocked by its philosophy of integrating the chat and project management because everyone in the IT industry, especially those who work with cross-functional teams often, will agree that how much we suffer from "too many tools" and "too many notifications".
Switching back and forth between project management tool, chat and it actually gives more burden to manage those.
Swit solves this with a simple and clear vision.
Our entire team has become able to work so efficiently now:
- Marketing team and design team freely discuss agenda on chat
- And we immediately convert the discussion into actionable items (tasks) without losing any important decision/conclusion.
Project and task management is personally my favorite aspect of Swit! The UI is exceptional and there is no other task management tool that does it better. The UI makes it easy to navigate for new users and allows users to easily have a bird’s eye view of his or her individual workflow and as well has the team’s workflow when it comes to team projects. The integration of chat as well makes it helpful to be able to communicate and coordinate with team members directly whenever something is unclear. Our team originally used Slack, but also had a separate work-group chat on Kakao talk. This caused a lot of different conversations to happen on different platforms. However, even if the conversation happening was about assigning tasks and details on what has to be executed, we had to move to another task management platform to visually organize whatever we talked about. Swit removes all of these hurdles in project and task managements!
It is amazing how Swit combines communication and task management in one platform. Chat is the one of the most familiar for of communication for my team and I, but we always have a hard time keeping specific tasks that we are executing aligned with the conversations that are going on in Slack. Swit resolves this issue by integrating one of the two most important segments of collaboration.
