The outcome. The engineering manager we hired was most excited by the equity piece of it, which I see as really important because we're not filtering from people who want to join an agency who want to join us. That motivation structure for the employee is fundamental in getting the right talent and then in the selection process of matching the right people. To this day the Eng Manager is still an amazing hire and fit with the company - one of the best people I've hired throughout my career (including before the startup).
