Prezi allows for a MUCH more dynamic and engaging presentation. Where PowerPoints can grow stale and predictable, Prezi allows for a "surprise and delight" element and really takes the audience on a journey.

If you want to create something more unique outside of Microsoft Powerpoint, Prezi is an excellent option. The style of presentation resembles a timeline. It animates to zoom in and out and moves the slide over. It is a continuous artboard that has all the presentation material on it. It can engage the audience if ordinary viewers are too used to generic PowerPoint slides. It can engage an audience if they haven't seen it used before.

You can put a presentation on a video with yourself and the presentations can be engaging.
