The value. Great features at an amazing price. Feature-wise, the healing brush is magic. Easily remove unwanted artifacts from your images, or even add background at the edges to change the aspect ratio.

What I like the most about Pixelmator is how simple it is. I've used adobe products before and Pixelmator's learning curve is far less steep. For a beginner who has a mac its an amazing piece of sofware.
