Phocas provides an excellent business intelligence solution for both end users and admins. The user interface is intuitive and achieves a notably effective and simple point-and-click query builder. Users do not have to learn a search syntax in order to analyze a database. Moreover, Phocas provides a search flexibility that allows users to change their research targets mid-stream - as users learn more through data discovery they are able to drill into aspects of the data that would not have previously been on their radar without needing to start their query over from scratch. From an admin standpoint, Phocas is an exceptionally capable and flexible tool for capturing and organizing data for end users. Without needing to be a database specialist, a competent ERP admin can export, organize, and create meaningful Phocas reporting within a matter of days.
