For years Vegas has been a very easy to use and helpful editor. I started using it for audio way back in the early 2000's and I loved how it allowed me to edit and do things with my music files that I could not do with other software. The normalizing feature for audio, the cropping precision and the way it was designed made it a delightful experience. With Vegas pro, you can see all that, plus the video editing tools that have been just improving with time. The UI has been redesigned and adapted for more modern needs and looks similar to other tools like Adobe or Final Cut, but keeping the basic tools from Vegas. It still feels familiar and gets the job done
