iDeals was very easy for me to set up for our small early-stage VC fund. Other than a few questions to get me started, which were answered quickly online by my support contact, I was on my own and able to get a demo data room up in under an hour for my team to evaluate. That onboarding made the vendor selection process very easy, along with the fact that we are not billed per user as I had no forecast for how many users we might have (I know our number of internal employees, but with no cap on clients.) Note we are using a basic version with a small storage allocation, your experience will vary depending on the product package. We've now launched our production data room with the important feature being daily reports so I can monitor client access.

It is safer than sending email attachments - much, much better. Being able to set permissions for specific groups is good, and being able to manage things from our side is much much easier
