Quick and Simple tool to edit files in Linux system

We can quickly open files in the linux OS and edit the files. It provides find and replace that works very smoothly and fast. It is good for linux beginners who are not proficient with the vi editors.

Easy to use editor

|gedit
Gedit is a text editor which is very simple and easy to use. It has a very simple interface and comes as default with most linux distribution. This editor is also available in windows. I like the inserting date feature in this editor and use it a lot. It has auto-save enabled which is very helpful.
