GNOME Terminal have a lot of features, multi-tab, you can change the TAB title, read-only Terminal, Zoom, search, and lot of other features

The default Linux Text Editor, good enough as a daily for power users!

Gedit has a simple and easy-to-use interface. It's effortless to get used to and provides the standard features offered by any other text editor. It also includes a marketplace for 3rd party plugins that you can install.
