Remote work was widely adopted in the technology segment and brought challenges inherent to this work model. Gather has helped to minimize the impacts of remote work, making a strong contribution to issues related to integration, collaboration and the spread of organizational culture to our teams.

Gather.town has been a total blessing for our hybrid remote team. We have a US based local office and international teammates across the globe. Gather allows us to have a natural office experience for our entire team. Our whole team stays in Gather all day - even our in-house staff. They can seamlessly move to a teammate to collaborate or to a private area for quiet focus time. As the supervisor of our dispatching team, Gather has been indispensable for me. The ability to quickly hop into a video chat with members of my team, without the formality and delay of initiating a video conference via a link, etc., saves me time and effort. Our company frequently helps customers with emergencies. Gather is an enormous time saver when time matters: One of our dispatchers can run over and brief me on a situation, and I can quickly find and bring in members of our tech team to put out fires. It gives us speed and agility to respond to urgent situations that traditional video chat can't match. Gather has broken down barriers between our teams. We are a more cohesive unit. It also makes work a lot more fun.

Gather has helped me bridge the gap between my In-House and External(Remote) workforce teams. It has allowed us further develop our workplace culture and give individuals the ability to experience some of what the In-Person staff does as they travel through the Gather space. We have gone as far as adding a "Kiosk" Avatar to our space that stands in a common area so people can see into the main office itself and wave as people walk through. All non Executives are in Gather throughout their shifts for easy of communication and collaboration be it In-Person or Remote Employees. The days of "Over the Shoulder" assistance in the office are gone!!
