I've been with Freemius for a few months now and I'm so glad I made the decision to switch from EDD. Everything just works with Freemius and I'm not having to spend a ton of developer resources fixing things. Not only that, I'm pretty sure sales are up as a direct result of moving to Freemius. Their checkout is intuative and they make upgrading licenses super easy. It's still early days but it's looking very promising.
