Open source and free CAD suite

|FreeCAD

Free CAD is a rare bird because the number of open-source CAD applications is somewhat limited. The application appears a suite with modules for different CAD applications, called "workbenches". There are workbenches for Architecture, Draft, Reverse Engineering, Part Design, and much more. Being open-source, we can expect more workbenches to be added as the community around FreeCAD grows. FreeCAD can also import and export in a variety of formats.
