The most thing I like about LibreCAD is I can open the AutoCAD DWG file in LibreCAD and that makes my work easy. The second thing I like most is It is completely free to use and it is available for Windows and Linux operating systems. The performance of the software is a little bit slower than Autocad so sometimes it crashes while doing work and due to that I lose my work without saving which frustrates me sometimes. I prefer using this app for geometric construction. This program is lightweight and fast. It reads DWG files, and can export to SVG.Being free open source project, I didn’t expect business grade quality on stuff like this such as the instant support or the integrated help, but the program itself does work very well for what I needed to do. I was not so impressed by the most important feature Called object info. Anything after the 1.0.1 Update does not work well with the 0SX any need to upgrade to at least mountain lion 10.8. It is very annoying for those who use the old program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
