Very easy to have Descript transcribe and summarize meetings and lectures. Easy to get started. I tend to use it right after every recorded meeting.

I'm not very technical at all which is what initially attracted me to Descript. And in fact when I first started using it, I was in tears because I couldn't get it to do what I needed. But after some diligence I finally figured it and have now done 12 episodes of my podcast. I've definitely got the hang of it now and am glad I went with them. Being able to have the transcript right after I'm done, and the editing is so simple!

When I first started on the idea of podcasting, I nearly gave it away after doing my first manual editing. It took over 3 hours and was still crappy. Then I found Descript. Umms and Arghs - gone. Instantly. All of them. Podcast is now record - upload to Descript. Use Overloard for some quick edits. Listen back once and edit the transcript on the fly. Drag in the intro and outro and publish. From pushing record to pushing publish is 1hr and 10 mins for a 30 minute podcast. It's my favourite part of the week now.
