I can't live without Descript. I am a business owner and I host a podcast. With the podcast, Descript allows me to write a script that I can read from - and with eye contact - the finished product does not look like I'm reading from a script. Being able to edit based on words in the transcript is amazing. I'm not comfortable (yet) handing off my crazy videos to someone to edit out my uhms/ahs or misspoken parts. It's so easy for me to listen and edit every podcast video. Then, I add captions and identify short promo clips before exporting. Outside of my podcast, I use it to help me with social media posts I create. I can easily splice and add text to my videos that enhance my posts.
