I use Fotor to make quick adjustments: adjust image sizes for web, newsletters, Instagram; correct exposure on low-light photographs that were not ideally shot because of the uneven auditorium lighting; adjust color tones on portraits taken in a variety of light conditions; and add some light sharpening prior to exporting. Since many images are submitted by students who have varying levels of experience working with photo editing software, using a lighter-weight tool like Fotor is faster than using a heavier software package. I am able to maintain a consistent look in my internal materials (flyers, video thumbnails, etc.) as well as social media graphics (Instagram and Facebook) through the use of templates.
