That i don't have to focus on note-taking when interviewing

Brighthire has amazing UX and allows me to be super efficient in how I run, take notes and manage my interviews in the midst of my busy day. It also empowers transparency throughout the org as my peers and manager can easily swing back on an interview, to the minute/second, and rewatch a portion of my (or their own) interviews.

BrightHire is to interviewing, as autonomous cars are to driving stick. Previously, I would aim to write down everything a candidate was saying so that I could reasonably and objectively return to their words after the interview was over. My approach made my interviewing more fair and objective. I would be able to refer back to exactly what was said, without having to rely on biased memories or how the last few questions in an interview made me feel even if the first 80% of the discussion was completely different. However, my approach made interviews incredibly mentally taxing. Not only that, my system meant that I would not be engaging in an authentic and natural conversation with candidates. BrightHire has completely changed the game. Interviews are substantially less mentally taxing, I believe I'm making a much stronger connection with candidates, and I'm able to focus my spare mental cycles 100% on higher-order synthesis and evaluation rather than lower-order transcription.
