Game-changing tools for my research needs

Betafi has been a game-changer for my user research process, especially with its automated transcription feature. It quickly converts spoken words into text, allowing me to capture valuable insights from user conversations in real-time. The transcriptions in Betafi are easily searchable, enabling me to quickly find specific keywords or phrases relevant to my research. This has helped me identify important insights and patterns efficiently, saving me time in the analysis process. In addition to transcription, Betafi's annotation feature lets me add comments, tags, and insights to the transcriptions, making it easy to capture and categorize observations for further analysis. This has helped me organize and analyze the data more effectively. One of the standout features of Betafi is its seamless integration with popular visual collaboration tools like Miro and FigJam. The ability to export transcriptions directly to these tools has been a game-changer for creating affinity diagrams. I can effortlessly create and organize insights into groups, clusters, or categories, enabling me to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations from my research findings. Furthermore, Betafi's customer support has been exceptional, with prompt and responsive assistance whenever I've had questions or concerns.

Springboard to better product mindset

Betafi is easy to use and get started with. It's price point makes it very accessible and and a worthwhile investment to businesses of most sizes. While it may seem similar in terms of features to a few popular tools in the space, the following make it outstanding: 1. Tags - the instant tags feature not only expedites note taking but helps researcher navigate through long interview playbacks efficiently with key anchors. It reduces the cognisant load on the researcher who is trying to moderate, capture key points and synthesize on the fly. It also allows for easy slicing and exporting of content if needed after further consideration of storytelling. 2. Zoom integration - no more pesky extensions or blockers from the participant pov which eases the process for the researchers too. Most participants are familiar with Zoom and also have it downloaded on their device already! 3. Notes workspace - usually after a session, my team will do a quick huddle. The notes workspace is great way for us to highlight key takeaways during the huddle and immediately begin synthesis with some basic clustering. The feedback ans insights are top of mind and we are able to leverage the context adeptly. As we go through more sessions, the notes and early synthesis are easily available and help guide the discussion. It also means we can confidently tweak approach, objectives, guides, prototypes etc with clear reference to why. 4. Miro integration - collaboration and sharing and easy prep of stimuli for stakeholder workshops. I think a pretty obvious benefit as the notes/highlights are exported to individual post its on Miro. 5. General usuability - I appreciate that the team is meticulous. For example, Betafi allows researchers to upload their interview guides for easy visibility during the actual session without the need to toggle between apps - what's great is while the researcher can input individual questions or upload from a google doc, they can just as simply copy paste a wall of questions and the system detects the demarcation to list the questions separately and allows users to take notes for the questions individually during a session. Just an idea for scheduling - I would love to be able to set up multiple sessions in a project simultaneously or even upload a timetable of sorts. Also having the sessions then linked to my work calendar when the invitation is sent (as a moderator/ observer) would be amazing. Currently I have to go into each session to extract the observer links etc so a list view and potentially one that can be exported would be helpful.
