The SAP BW/HANA interface is great for integration of data but performs really poorly when submitted to a huge amount of data. The problem itself is not in the integration between BW and HANA but actually in the second part where Hana integrates with the BI Tool. If the goal is to only integrate a small amount of data this can be great but if you wanna to integrate really granular data with several amounts of information the user end experience may be really poor, even if the results in HANA/BW seems to be good.
