It is fairly easy to navigate and edit. Nothing too complicated that would need training. I also like that I can easily see the time of the employees that are working for me and how many hours have been devoted to each case. Análise coletada por e hospedada no G2.com.
I wish it was a little more intuitive and that I didn't have to open separate windows to enter new time vs. see old time and entries. Perhaps because I access it through Citrix, but it just always seems weird to toggle through from entry to entry. And if you hit Return/Enter, then everything is submitted and you have to go and edit it in a different window or open a new one to continue adding entries. Also, I don't think anyone in the world ever uses that timer. Also, there are some pop-ups that keep coming up that you have to change settings on or else you will be continually annoyed. Ease of time entries for time-based billing. Practical layout with various tools to track fees, billing, hours, and client information. A one-stop program that sufficiently caters to all of a lawyer's needs. The ledgers make it very accessible to keep track of work completed, and users can make payments and write cheques with ease. Very clunky. Laggy when the database is large. You can't leave it open overnight as it disconnects from the server with backup. Interface is slow. Very little is automated. The bills it generates are so obtuse that clients always call asking what do the bills even mean. I have to create summaries in MS Word. Correcting spelling errors in disbursement entries in a very slow process. If I put in the wrong hourly rate (ie, my hourly rate for a legal aid file or a discounted hourly rate file), I have to manually change each and every entry which is an extremely slow process. I can't make custom forms without getting admin privileges from the firm. It has been inordinately difficult to do such things as remove a "total tax" line from the template bill when the "total tax" line doesn't even set out all of the tax (it sets out GST only instead of combined GST and PST). Este software está cerca de 10 anos atrasado em termos de interface do usuário. Muito pouco controle sobre cores, tamanho de fonte, você nomeia. Eles querem que você pague uma montanha de dinheiro pelo suporte técnico anual. Hoje, (3 de abril de 2020) liguei para o suporte técnico. Esperei 20 minutos para ser conectado a alguém em um call center offshore apenas para não conseguir falar com eles, pois a transmissão era praticamente inexistente... então enviei um e-mail com meu problema bem detalhado. Preciso transferir o software do computador antigo para o novo... parece fácil... Não é!!!! O e-mail voltou... disse para ligar para a linha de suporte (veja acima). Simplesmente não há razão para comprar/usar este produto. Todos que estão usando outro software de contabilidade jurídica parecem muito felizes com todos os aspectos de seu novo produto depois de usar o Chevy Nova 72 do vovô (PcLaw) por tanto tempo. On hold times for tech support over 2-4 hours. Dealing with someone overseas, I was disconnected twice, they never called back then you are forced back in the que as many as 20 people ahead of me back in line for hours. Sales rep did not know that only certain versions of PCLaw users can upgrade base on the database being used. I never got upgraded to the full version. Even the feedback link crashed.
