We use Zyte for about 50 scrapers that run almost daily. Zyte is reliable, uses a variety of servers and IP addresses. We have been using it for several years now. Zyte offers logging of scraping requests and scraped items. With Zyte you can download scraped items to the file system of your choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zyte IP addresses seem to be known. We encounter that the request from Zyte are being blocked by a small number of sites. In this case, we use a proxy in order to keep the functionality of Zyte available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zyte has been a game-changer for our web scraping needs. Its robust feature set, coupled with strong support and reliable performance, makes it an excellent choice for both small and large-scale data extraction projects. If you're looking for a professional and scalable solution, Zyte is worth considering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Zyte is feature-rich, the learning curve for fully optimizing its tools can be steep, particularly for those without prior experience in web scraping. Additionally, some advanced features can feel a bit fragmented and require more effort to integrate seamlessly with custom-built systems. Pricing can also be a concern for smaller-scale operations, as the cost rises with usage, especially if your projects require a high volume of scraping. However, the value it offers often outweighs these drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I like about zyte is, that its captcha bypass solution which they have implemented in their API, I have never got a captcha issue while using their API, I always got 200 ok response from each and every website I tried scraping with the help of Zyte, and apart from this, they have quick support, which resolves our doubts and issues ASAP. They have a very easy to use API, and proper dashboard for analytics, I have easily implemented their API in my solution. I am using it from past 5 months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I don't like in Zyte, but they could have made the pricing part more clear, the volume discount part is still unclear to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We needed an IP ban bypassing service to avoid the hassle of developing our own solution. Zyte proved to be incredibly useful for kickstarting our project, and we were able to integrate it into our system quickly.
One feature we particularly appreciated was the ability to test whether specific URLs worked before committing to a subscription. Additionally, the initial credit they offer was invaluable for our early testing phase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was unable to bypass a few websites we intended to scrape, particularly those with regional restrictions in Canada.
We also encountered some blocking issues when sending large volumes of requests within a short timeframe. To address this, we ultimately had to implement our own rate-limiting mechanism.
Additionally, the service proved to be costly for our needs, as we required the ability to send a high volume of requests on a regular schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zyte is an excellent and reliable tool for web scraping and data extraction. I primarily use it within Scrapy projects, where its integration is seamless and highly efficient. The implementation process is straightforward, making it easy to get started and productive quickly.
Customer support is another highlight—I've used their ticketing system, and it’s intuitive and effective, ensuring a smooth resolution of any issues.
I use Zyte monthly for tasks within my company, as well as for various side projects, and it consistently delivers outstanding results. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the platform and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a robust scraping solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The admin panel could benefit from better organization, as navigating between personal and company configurations, as well as account and billing pages, can sometimes be confusing. Streamlining the interface and clearly distinguishing these sections would greatly enhance the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zyte has been a massive help for our organization whenever we needed to perform any scraping jobs. It is incredibly easy and intuitive to setup, and it does the job flawlessly. Zyte also allows us to use proxies, which allows us to scrape whatever data we need without fear of being blocked. We regularly run scraping jobs, and we will likely be using it for years to come. Zyte is overall fantastic, but I (and several of my colleagues) wish that the user interface was updated slightly and polished, as in certain places it gives off an unpolished look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Zyte's API and their deprecated Proxy Manager, it is a reliable service and it's pretty intuitive to use and monitor.
Their anti-ban technology as well the geolocalization is a great feature which allows our team to circumvent restrictions put in place by companies which offer API(s) without really supporting them.
Another point in favour of Zyte is related to their constant commitment, we have been their client ovr the past couple of years and we saw their evolution both in terms of service and customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their administration web UI is quite limited and seems to be something they'd need to take care of.
Monitoring could be improved, providing better logging system and better third party integrations such as webhooks to talk with services such as Slack.
Pricing is also another point which needs to be reviewed, their solution allows to "pre-pay" a user defined monthly amount, the problem is around credits not being carried month over month, we have been spending hundreds of dollars in unused credits until realising it. The best part about zyte is the professionalism of the team and the quality of the product. I've used both proxies and zyte api. Even though zyte api is not for me since I enjoy the process of making scrapers of my own, it is a remarkable product. My primary use is for the proxies which is use in scrapy. Works every time. I reliably can scrape every website I want. In cases I had issues the support team came and consulted me what changes I should do to make scraping success rate even higher. The support team is always there to help and due to the nature of the company, they are technically inclined. So it is easier for a developer to communicate. You also get emails regarding the success rate of your requests weakly. This is great especially when I do not have time to check logs of some projects or I'm on vacation etc. great addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like zyte needs an update regarding their documentation on how to use the proxies outside of scrapy. It would be better if the process was more streamline that the current implementation. When building a project you want to spend as much time as possible regarding the project and not how to connect the proxy so you can access the resource. Also a responsive design on the platform would be a nice addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ZyteAPI integrates easily with any existing project and offers an optimal tier-like subscription system. It performs well when forwarding requesting through their services It solves a wide range of use cases that suits our needs. Besides, it fails on a very small number of requests which you do NOT need to pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is the availability of the statistics on the API usage. You can only access the subscription costs and the request/response lifecycle results in their website. It does not provide any endpoint to consume such stats as for to automate the cost revision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zyte was easy to implement in web spiders that were already written in Scrapy. After implementation, I don't notice it's there - but I do know that it works, becuase we have no problems scraping Javascript, no issues with bans or errors, and we're able to crawl everything intended. Very easy to use and integrate! We use it for all of our crawling needs. I've also always gotten fast replies from customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The payment structure of half upfront/half at the end of the month encourages us to underestimate usage at the beginning of the month and increase as we go, which leads to complications with multiple invoices per month on heavy-usage months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Zyte emphasizes ethical scraping practices. They advocate for scraping that complies with legal guidelines, such as terms of service agreements and privacy regulations. They also offer advice on how to ensure that scraping efforts don't cause undue harm to the websites being scraped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing
Zyte offers a variety of pricing models, typically based on usage (such as the number of requests or the volume of data extracted). The exact pricing can depend on the specific tools and services a user selects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
