I like that Zumper has a very competitive price compared to other internet listing sites. It also has a large focus on social media advertising and location-based advertising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zumper is not quite as popular as some other internet listing sites. It has a great price, but it would be nice if the prospective resident reach was a littler larger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It attempts to integrate into RentManager, but fails miserably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Zumper.com, and I feel compelled to share my negative review. Despite investing thousands of dollars per month into their services, Zumper has provided us with next to no leases and an overwhelming number of cold leads. The platform's inefficiency, lack of integration with our lease management system, and glitchy user interface have only added to our frustration. Here's a detailed account of my grievances with Zumper.com:
Ineffective Lead Generation:
Despite Zumper's promises of generating qualified leads, our investment has yielded virtually no leases. The leads we received were predominantly cold and unresponsive, making it clear that Zumper's claim of providing high-quality leads was nothing more than an empty promise. We were left with a significant waste of time and financial resources.
Exorbitant Costs:
The exorbitant amount of money we spent per month on Zumper's services only intensified our disappointment. We had hoped that investing in their platform would lead to a significant increase in lease signings, but the results were abysmal. The return on investment was practically nonexistent, leaving us feeling cheated and financially drained.
Lack of Integration with Lease Management System:
One of the most frustrating aspects of Zumper.com was its failure to integrate with our existing lease management system. This lack of integration created a cumbersome and time-consuming process of manually transferring data and syncing information between the two systems. It is utterly unacceptable that a platform catering to property management and leasing industry professionals lacks such a fundamental feature.
Glitchy User Interface:
Navigating Zumper's user interface was an exercise in frustration. The website's interface was plagued with glitches, making it difficult to use and causing constant delays in our leasing operations. Basic tasks, such as uploading listings or updating property information, would often result in errors or crashes. The overall lack of stability and reliability of the platform made our work considerably more challenging and negatively impacted our productivity.
Poor Customer Support:
When we encountered issues with Zumper's platform or needed assistance, their customer support was far from satisfactory. Response times were slow, and when we did receive a reply, the answers provided were often generic and unhelpful. It felt as though our concerns were not taken seriously, leaving us feeling ignored and unsupported.
In conclusion, my experience with Zumper.com has been overwhelmingly negative. The platform's failure to generate leases, the exorbitant costs, the lack of integration with our lease management system, and the glitchy user interface have all contributed to a frustrating and unsatisfactory user experience. I strongly caution others in the property management industry against investing their time and resources into Zumper's services, as it has proven to be an unreliable and disappointing platform. I love that most of the time full info is captured. IE. Phone number and email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the actual application needs to be much more thorough like a Pennsylvania Realtors Association application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
does a great job of marketing apartments, connecting to tennants Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
rent collection has numerous glitches, including charging you for what is a free service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of screening tenants, I can charge what I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you have a problem, it can takes weeks to get help. I have tried to reach out to them over 5 times now and I am still waiting for my tenant applications . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are a good source for finding tenants Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They have completely incompetent staff. I am on email number 6 now and they state they will change phone number over and over and ignored simple request resulting in people calling our private number as their "screening" number on their site auto forwards to our private phone number. Each email they state they "certainly can disable the number" yet evidentally no one actually looks at it as they don't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing good about Zumper. ZERO Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a scam. They do not screen the landloards. We were scammed for over $1,000 and there is no way to even talk with Zumper. There is no phone number and no way to talk with the. STAY AWAY!!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was so easy to get started and setup. I was absolutely brand spanking new to this area and found it so simple to attract potential tenants and track and everything! The ability to not only create an attractive profile that is not just accessible through Zumper but the hook in with the other software like padmapper was a seamless and effective tool. I also liked the face that every possible option i could think of for items and filters have already been thought off before. Nothing worse than trying some new program and discovering that the product really isn't finished!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing has come up yet that I don't like that is directly Zumper's fault. Didn't like having real estate agents contacting me to buy the unit when I had it up for rent but again not your guys' fault :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zumper was able to reach a very broad target audience extremely quickly. We received over 100 applications in 5 days! That's likely because we were priced too competitively, however, it speaks to the breadth of Zumper's audience. I also find it an incredible platform for managing applications and inquiries. You can download an excel file all your applicants and go through each one by one. My favourite feature is that each time someone calls to request information on the property, the call is logged with the person's phone number. Thus, when you follow up with all your inquiries, you're able to keep one single source rather than trying to remember which number it was that called about a specific property. (Useful if your job has you running around a lot!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike is that there's no messaging service available. Kijiji offers a messaging service that allows you to communicate directly with an applicant rather than having to use email or phone. But I truly believe the other features more than make up for this one feature loss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part about Zumper is how many networks the listing ends up on. This is a huge time saver both for posting and marking as listed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The emails from Zumper frequently end up in the spam box when I reply to tenants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
