In a nutshell, learning as much about a prospect's DISC style prior to initial meetings allows for a customized approach to conversations, email communications, etc. It's a straightforwars application, as long as there's a current LinkedIn profile available for a prospect. If there isn't, providing as much background research on an individual as possible to the attentive and responsive xiQ staff results in a profile link, when one hasn't been available either through the Salesforce app, or through the xiQ website. One of the recurring frustrations is that there may be some incongruence between titles and/or company names within our Salesforce account contacts, so using xiQ through that app doesn't always produce a result. As long as we can find an individual on LinkedIn, though, we can search through the xiQ website. It isn't always an efficient process--i.e., it can result in wasted time when preparing for a meeting. Another frustration is when an individual's company name isn't used in their LinkedIn profile "header," it often isn't picked up during an xiQ search on the website if we use first name + last name + company name. if we get creative, and use first name + last name + "engineer," for example (if that's a keyword in the LinkedIn header), it seems to work. Not a dislike about xiQ itself but I wasn't able to access it for a while because I wasn't granted enterprise access even though I was enrolled in a class where all the students were supposed to have enterprise access.
