I like how easy it is for the field to use Workmax to ensure they clock in at the right job. The GPS and facial recognition features are useful for ensuring accuracy. Customer support is very helpful though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With it still being a newer app there are lots of updates going out to fix bugs and improve ease of use. While this is a good thing, it can be a bit annoying to continuously push out updates to the fields phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This program was very easy to implement and use. The onboarding rep knew the program well and was able to walk me through the steps with ease. We use the report feature on a regular basis, as well as checking the GPS discrepancy to make sure they are punching in and out at the jobsite. I like the fact that we are more accurately charging to jobs. prior to WorkMax we would wait until Friday and fill out the timecard based on memory. A lot of mischarged time would occur. The biggest complaint from the employees is that they cannot clock in before filling out the daily job hazard assessment form I created at log in. No Paper. We started using WorkMax in lue of the hassle that time sheets and manual data entry create. With WorkMax we have been able to better track employee time and project costing by getting real time entry on project site. With the simple use of this system we have been able to train about half of our workforce in as little as 4 months. The simplicity of the app makes it to where any user can be trained quickly and efficiently. Lastly, the support team for WorkMax has been phenomenal, they are very hasty when in need. The process of reaching support by way of ticket makes them easy to contact at any time, and usually within an hour I have received a response and resolution to any problem that occured. As an administrator it currently does not have a filter on who (group or batch) I can see. It displays all employees. Needs a filter for Admins to filter by group. It does filter for individual approvers for their group. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WorkMax has enabled our company to use single point data entry into our account system with manager reviews along the way. This saves a significant amount of post processing the field's time sheets.
