I've started working with Workato and Workato team a few years ago. The tool as proven effective even when not using it to it's full capacity. The Workato team is very dilligent in supporting and making sure you're using it to the best of its abilities and are always available to support, review and consider your input. There aren't many so far. It's a bit hard to understand exactly what's the most suitable subscription for the organization needs and the models available might need still some work but the commercial team is very flexible and patient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Workato is easy to use once you get to know it. The ability to connect my very niche multimedia asset management tools via APIs and webhooks is really useful. I am a post production project manager and we have a number of systems that need to be connected to enable our remote users to get their work done. A lot of whats involved is sharing links to videos, updating google sheets and updating Monday.com boards - often with the same information. We are almost finished desigining a system where both the google sheets and Monday boards are kept in sync via workato recipes that map the data by column, and in some cases the changes to the google sheet are automatically triggered by events in our Media Access Management system - via webhooks and another recipe. Workato made it easy for us to transform the RAW json data coming from the webhook into actionable data for google sheets, then remap the columns and sync it to Monday.com! The learning curve was pretty steep, but starting with simeple recipes helped. Initially I found the error handling logic difficult to get my head around. But a combination of using AI helpers and support from Workator developers allowed me to understand it's importance. If it can be considered a flaw, Workato's support infrastructure is a bit complex: they have a knowledge base, forums, CSRs, QA developers, and in some accounts a Solutions Consultant. Who/what to turn to for which issues one may have can be its own learning curve and/or frustration. Top-to-bottom approach of the recipes that exactly depicts the flow charts helps anybody to pick-up the tool easily. Unlike other tools which cause some confusion on the terminology, but workato is using the exact programming terminology which helps a technical person to learn the tool easily.
The customer support was very helpful in resolving my issues and also helped me in learning the techniques of debug, writing complex formulas et., My clients are using the tool for most of their ETL and Business process automations across all cost centers. Citizen developer program, suggested by workato was really helpful for POs and stakeholders to easily pickup the tool and implement the automation on their easily.

Workato modularizes a lot of the automation process, making it fairly easy for a team managing dozens or even hundreds of client automations to collaborate seamlessly while simultaneously obfuscating those elements that are irrelevant to each individual's role in any given automation. An all-purpose approach makes the platform extremely flexible, and any service that offers an API is fair game for use with the platform. Building general API integration layers that can be recycled makes it comparatively easy to spin up new automations -- "recipes" in Workato -- without much prep work, and a fully visual development environment makes the design and construction of them intuitive and easy enough that even non-developers can make use of the platform. Having spent about a decade doing automations, I remember well the days when it was my responsibility to construct both the integration and the automation because both were coded solutions, but Workato makes my work load a little more manageable -- allowing me to focus on developing the integration layer, while others can put it to use in developing recipes according to their needs. As a next-generation solution, it's worth being mindful of imperfections. We do, occassionally, encounter bugs or situations where something just doesn't function the way one would expect, but that's bound to happen with any new platform. Nonetheless, when these situations do arise, their support team is generally very reliable and quick to provide a solution (or a workaround, as the case may be). It is easy to create integration of different platforms easier by using features like API Platform, Custom connectors, Embedded Solutions etc. provided by Workato.
The feauters I like are Custom SDK, API Platforms which helped me a lot in creating and maintaining different integrations.

We've been using Workato for just over 2 years. We previously shifted from Celigo to Workato. We are able to easily integrate and automate systems. The user onboarding is quick, with an extensive training academy (this has been great to ensure we have core training for all users). They also have a frequently changing roadmap, their product is constantly improving.
