Ease of use and short learning curve. Can be easily explained event to someone with very little or no coding skills. The drag-and-drop approach of most components is a lifesaver when you need quick changes and edits and are looking at a lot of pages. I love how easy it is to use, how great the community is. It's great for creating everything from simple websites with only a few pages to large involved websites, e-commerce sites and blogs. It's a great tool I use daily as a website designer and developer.

I dislike that certain features such as easily being able to assign specific roles to users isn't a built in feature other than that I think it's a great tool.

Well, Wordpress.org does not align with the suitability of beginners. I dislike one thing about Wordpress.org because if you want even the small & simplest things to your template you need to learn how to edit HTML,CSS, PHP ,etc. In a nutshell, you need to learn coding as well to play with template designs.
