I recently switched over to building websites through Wix. It is incredibly easy to use and get the hang of. The implementation is easy and the customer support is very helpful. Wix is very user-friendly. You don't have to know a whole lot about building websites. They basically hold your hand through the process and make it easy for you to create a very nice-looking site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a couple of issues I had with trying to do the SEO (which I know nothing about, but I've tried to research it myself to save money) and I wanted to update a couple things (per some suggestions) and found I could not because of the how the Wix platform worked. I'm a compulsive do-it-yourselfer and started with wordpress based on it's full function list but damn, it was confusing and I got way too impatient. I've also used squarespace (it's been a few years so assume many updates since then) and of the three Wix is the best. Squarespace is an easy editor as well but sometimes the default templates / layouts and the mobile versions didn't line up / present the way I was expecting. When using Wix I never even had that thought once. it was perfect.
