What do you like best about Western Computer?

Sense of ownership and a partnership that blurred over time where we felt they were an extenstion of our organization. They are resilient and worked professionally at times when our internal teams were struggling with other carve out activities. The Western team also remained flexible and evolved with our requirements as they changed. We had a complex set of legacy systems and a lack of process documentation but they never gave up or used excuses. They found solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Western Computer?

With a small firm you always have the risk of losing key resources to other projects. We were fortunate that our core team remained dedicated to our porject, but it's inevitable that there will be time when resources shift. I will say senior leadership remained engaged and always responded correctly when we were faced with challenges or needed to escalate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Western Computer solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a small company that was divested from a global organiztion. First, we had to carve out of legacy systems that were supported by shared resources that could not help us stand up our company as an independent entity. In addition, our new owner required our company to operate completely autonomously from the parent infrastructure, so that meant "we were on our own". Western Computer leadership, consultants, project managers and specialists in each of our functional areas helped us carve out from legacy systems and enabled our transition to Business Central and Dynamics CRM. They also led the integration efforts to help us manage our subscription platform inside one integrated system. This multi-year project was complex and required tight collaboration with our internal team, and over the course of time Western Computer became a natural extenstion of our team. The next result is for the first time in 25 years, the company works completely autonomously from its parent organization as a standalone enterprise. This allowed us to double in size and use systems that scale with the demands of our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Western Computer?

The consultants and SME's at Western Computer are knowledgable about all aspects of D365 F&SCM and CE. They are friendly and personable and are a pleasure to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There really isn't much to dislike in my experience. I feel very comfortable with our implementation here at the half-way point. If I had to nitpick I would say we have struggled at times to schedule some of our tasks due to all the moving parts but that is not entirely on the folks at Western.
