Very realistic and diversified artificial voices that I can use commercially. I also like the ability they have to "stitch" segments together to create a longer segment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish they had more control of the inflection available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how natural the voices sound and the different options available for voiceovers. I save so much time now in audio editing, and I can deliver the same value as a traditionally recorded voiceover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside to using WellSaid (likely changed on a subscription level) is only having 1,000 characters per audio clip. I have to be strategic in placing text and piece together clips for a final product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think this is the best app/service for voiceovers. I love being able to create voiceovers for all my videos and presentations with this app. The app is so easy to use and I love that it gives me the option to save the voiceover as a file. The interface is simple, making it simple to change the text that is being read. The voice quality is excellent, especially considering that it is a TTS app. I have tried many TTS apps, but this is my favorite. I think that WellSaid is the best text-to-speech (TTS) solution available. The quality of voice is really good and natural and better than most, based on the quality of producing natural-sounding voice, not robotic, cold and emotionless. I wish there were more language options instead of only support to English, but more are coming, in the future. And no ability to have a conversation script where I can use two voices.
The overall score is 90% because always have room for improvement😊 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use and the variety of voices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd like a way to go back and edit the text to redo takes. When I get feedback on my eLearning, at times I need to go back and revise audio. I need to retype in the script. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The voices are so lifelike. I like the multiple takes as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how the audio passage will switch to sentence takes automatically when you go over 1000 characters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love everything about this software. It is very easy to learn, use, and immediately implement. It's great for people who need to create a narration audio track but don't want to record their own voices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is that the AI has trouble pronouncing certain words with an accurate human inflection. Some phrases end up sounding like questions rather than statements. This can be toyed with and worked around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Compared to other options WellSaid is a great tool for all sorts of creators that are trying to bridge the gap between text and speech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I'd like to see more is improvements to the base of voices that are available, while there is a great variety it'd be cool to see improvements to the ones we have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
