Webflow's user interface and ease of use is what makes it great. As a front-end developer who has used various website builders, I don't experience the limitations I have in the past. The ability to connect and integrate with various platforms is what makes it truly unique and robust. I can easily create a simple website or a large intricate website with various integrations, it's all customizable and flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly can't think of anything. I haven't came across a limitation of Webflow or the inability to do something. At least not yet! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a Senior Designer and Platform Admin, I've really enjoyed working in Webflow the last several years. The design interface is super user-friendly, easy to drag and drop elements and build custom components without getting bogged down in code. The ability to use global libraries for components and styles as well as using 3rd party pre-built elements has streamlined our processes and allows my team to deliver faster and better. What gets me really excited about Webflow is how they are always looking to innovate with new tools and features. The evolution of Webflow from when I started using it to today is amazing and I can't wait to see what's next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ok so in all farness, a little more access to the back end code like direct access to the CSS to edit would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that 95% of the time that I've thought of an interesting CSS trick, I can do that trick through Webflow's interface. I would say there is nothing that I've needed to do to a website that I can't easily figure out how to do in Webflow. The university is great, and I highly recommend the tutorial course for learning this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price, and the fact that you have to pay two different prices for your account and your site. I can't imagine how it would be if I had to manage multiple sites on here, but probably extremely expensive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Das man den vollen Zugriff auf HTML, CSS und Javascript hat. Es ist wie als ob man eine Seite selber programmiert, aber man hat den Vorteil das man viel schneller ist durch den Visuellen Builder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Manchmal fehlen mir Backend funktionalitäten, also sowas wie einen API Call senden der einen Token benötigt. Es wäre cool wenn man Server Funktionen hätte, direkt in Webflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For context: We use Webflow daily in our agency and we work with Webflow since 5+ years.
- The base product (I call it "visual coding") is a huge time saver
- Components
- page building (not in the current state though..)
- Simplicity of hosting sites
- Community (the Forum, Finsweet, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Components have no support for background videos and lottie files in the properties
- Page building is not thought through yet:
- In Build mode there is no option to add links to a navigation (neither automatically, nor manually). This means that the clients of our agency can build new pages now with Build mode but they still have to call us to add a link to the navigation.
- In Build mode its not possible to add Components into Component Slots
- For us as an agency, the workflow for handling clients and client projects is messy and not thought through. If I want to give the client simple access to the Build mode, my client would have to create an account and I would have to transfer the project over to his account. Then he would need to invite me back into his workspace. And even then: The client has way too much power and possibilities to break the site, because he is the administrator of the Workspace.
It would be much better if we could invite our clients to Build mode like we can invite them to the old Editor. It would keep it very simple and the client only gets to see what he needs.
- No native CMS slider
- [Bug] All Images inside grids that dont have fixed width in pixels always load the lowest resolution version of the srcset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Webflow user interface and CMS make developing websites in Webflow a joy and a beautiful experience. What you can create in Webflow is pretty much limited by your imagination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Webflow Terms of Use have references to "misinformation" and "disinformation". So they monitor content. Like YouTube and other social media platforms, you could find your account suspended if what you publish on your platform goes against "official" government narratives or their agenda. So beware. The best thing about Webflow is that you have full control over what you build. This gives you and incredible amount of freedom to build beautiful sites, and also allows you to integrate any third party library or service. Their customer service has always been helpful and quick to resolve tickets, and the community around Webflow is great and supportive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside of Webflow is that it takes some time learning how to use it efficiently, especially if you are a designer with no or limited knowledge of HTML and CSS (or Javascript). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- News and announcements

I think the WebflowConf User Cards should have Twitter/Profile pic, so we can identify each other (as this community usually interacts a lot in Twitter) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite part of Webflow is the specially designed tools that allow me to create any type of website, whether I'm starting from scratch or already have much of the coding designed. From our own digital company, I can implement a lot of websites and attract a lot more clients. I've been able to tailor it to my liking because it's easy to use and offers a high level of customization. In addition to its many complex features, it is fantastic for creating data-driven websites and e-commerce platforms. Whether you're an experienced web developer or just starting out, it's a great program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hosting the website is expensive in comparison to industry standards, and copying and sharing work across projects can be a bit of a pain at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Design Flexibility and it's Aesthetic Control: Webflow gives designers almost pixel-perfect control over every element, making it ideal for those who want to build stunning, custom sites without limitations. The visual design tools are powerful, and the platform's ability to create animations and interactions adds a “wow” factor to any website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Cost and Scalability: Compared to open-source options like WordPress, Webflow can be more expensive. Although it has scaling capabilities, the subscription fees for premium features, custom domains, and hosting can add up, especially for larger projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
