Webflow allows users to design, develop, and host the website w/o worrying about the code. It also comes with multiple add-ons like CMS (content management system) and hosting.
Additionally, it allows users to create animation without coding. The templates they provide are also top-notch compared to other tools that come within the same category. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initially, for beginners, there might be a learning curve associated with that. Especially if you are new to design concepts.
In light of more advanced features Webflow also sits at a good price point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Webflow has to be how user-friendly it is without sacrificing power. I love how I can design exactly what I’m imagining without getting bogged down by complicated code. It’s super flexible and lets my creativity flow freely, which makes every project fun and satisfying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to nitpick, I think it would be cool if Webflow offered a simpler, lighter version for those who prefer fewer options. As it keeps growing and adding more features, having a streamlined version could be really helpful for some users. But honestly, that’s a tiny gripe—there’s really nothing else I dislike about Webflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Webflow is great for visually building websites without needing deep coding skills. It allows you to create an exact HTML and CSS website in less time. Its CMS is powerful, and the design freedom helps create professional sites quickly. The ability to integrate animations and interactions easily makes it a great tool for designers. Webflow is flexible for adding custom functionality, but there’s only a hard way of doing that—it should have a no-code approach for advanced customizations. Also, Webflow should have a dedicated app because, for larger sites, it slows down and doesn’t work efficiently. Their pricing is high, and many basic features are locked behind expensive plans. I love that Webflow has given me the ability to build a web design business with confidence. I know basic CSS and HTML, but not enough to develop websites to the level I can with Webflow. It's so much more intuitive to use and secure and stable to use than the other programs I've used. It also has the best community to learn from. I love that they have a showcase area where you can look at how people build certain things and also clone them if you need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hosting is sometimes an issue with certain clients who don't want to use Webflow's. The pricing for some of the additional capabilities is sometimes frustrating. I also wish there were ways for client's to access the "editor" from a basic plan. Sometimes they just want to make quick text changes, but don't have a CMS. I think they have slowed down on providing new updates to the users. I know they're still working behind the scenes on a lot of things, but there's a lot of good ideas in the wishlist that would be good to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Webflow provides the most flexibility for website developments. We have had clients who want to host the website themselves on their own server. With Webflow, it's no problem. Just export the code and done!
Custom code? All good! Integrations? Good too! Everything is easy to use & implement. The customer support has been great too as Webflow now has the ability to directly refund hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ridiculously high learning curve especially for clients who are non-developers i.e. marketers, or the lady at a flower shop. For a company that posts regular content and use Webflow regularly, this high learning curve could be a major challenge with the fear of "breaking" stuffs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Webflow has allowed us to build beautiful client sites without any restrictions, while also giving clients the keys to update, build and manage the site without the risk of breaking anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I will say the pricing has been challenging at times to understand, communicate to clients, and even agree with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can edit major SEO elements in one place. It is very easy to edit robots.txt and sitemaps within the tool. I was also able to easily set up a global canonical tag that helped resolve some duplicate content issues we were experiencing.
Blog editing and publishing is seamless as well. The content editor is straightforward enough for a marketer with basic web skills to be able to create and publish blog content.
Additionally, customization within the tool is robust. My design team has been able to whip up components quickly when they are needed. I also love that there are community components that can be cloned and redesigned to match the aesthetic of your website. That significantly reduces time spent building new components. The Marketer role within the platform could have more autonimy. There are marketers with design skills that should be able to have access to more design features, like editing html and css elements. Even the ability for people in the Marketer role to swap out components would be a big win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Webflow's incredibly versatile design interface, users can precisely construct custom designs without knowing how to write code. For individuals without a background in development, Webflow's visual editor enables designers to construct intricate websites without the need for extensive code knowledge. It comes with tools for making responsive websites that work well on all kinds of screens. Its CMS (Content Management System) and e-commerce capabilities make it a powerful tool for building dynamic websites and online enterprises. Because Webflow allows you to export clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript if needed, developers might find it helpful. Pre-configured with SSL certificates, automatic backups, and other features, Webflows hosting is dependable and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Webflow's pricing can be expensive, especially if you’re looking for a high number of projects or advanced features. While the e-commerce feature is solid, it may feel restrictive compared to platforms like Shopify, especially for users wanting advanced features or custom checkout flows. While you can invite collaborators, Webflow doesn’t offer the same real-time, multi-user editing capabilities as some other tools. Exporting your project to host outside Webflow is a bit tricky, especially when dealing with CMS-powered sites or dynamic content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customization, let me explain. The number one problem when using no code builders is it's limitation. Webflow doesn't really follow into that category.
The second best thing would be speed, when using other wordpress based drag and drop builder you need a lot of extensions and this slows you site by a lot. With webflow the site is fast as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hosting price: it's a bit higher than other alternatives and there are usage limits as well like number of CMS collections, bandwidth limit ...etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Webflow is overall easy to use and the customizability is really the best I have ever seen. You can easily create a project customized to your needs without any limitation. On the other hand its so easy to use for marketing teams of every size. At the moment there is no way around Webflow for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some open ends like ECommerce, Logic or User features that were discontinued but are still accessiable. Dont be fooled to use them. Stick to what Webflow really offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The amount of releases they ship each month. They announce when they're ready, they work, have clear documentaiton. Very easy to use, setup, scale, adapt.
With great customer support both in their education/training but also responding to issues.
Overall product design, interface, concepts are fantastic. Strikes balance of no-code with a level of flexibility customisation and code overrides that mean you can achieve a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recently shipped a few features that didn't work properly, and one that was announced BEFORE it was ready, and then their anticipated date was pushed back a month. Very poor form for Webflow standards.
Not much else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
