What do you like best about Weavy?

The collaboration features work out of the box. There's no need to waste time configuring details. It all just works (and looks very nice).

What do you dislike about Weavy?

I wish I could do more from the client-site. Although it works great as-is, in some cases I might want to do some styling or customization.

"Added so much value for our users"

What do you like best about Weavy?

Our app is all about teams - skippers staying safe and charter employees being more efficient. Our tech team is really small, so the fact it was easy and fast was important for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Weavy?

-> Weavy contains one of the well-written documentation.

->Embedding features into the web app is super easy, one or two lines of code will do the trick.

->The entire data is on the server-side itself, so it is safe.

-> Weavy chat is free to use.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

-> the integration is not supported on android SDK.

-> Server-side modification can be made simpler.

What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Weavy chat has been an essential feature in providing an end-to-end chat application in my project.I have used Weavy for building two web apps during the last 2 years, and I find integrating Weavy into your app is the easiest part. The services provided are simpler and much safer as the data belongs to the user and are on the client-side itself. That being said, they offer integration only to selected technologies (at the time of this writing). The UI is the fundamental part of the Weavy experience, as it provides a fresh and simpler look to your web app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The All New Updated Weavy Docs Website Really Helped Out"

What do you like best about Weavy?

The best thing about this is that the whole process is documented on the Weavy Docs Website. Also, the in-app chat was made available for free. I think that was the icing on the cake.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

I had a very tough time navigating and finding the resources we needed to integrate Weavy into our app and a little bit of trouble setting up the JWT authentication. Otherwise, it was all smooth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Last year during the first Weavy collaboration hack, our team had a very tough time navigating and finding the resources we needed to integrate weavy into our app. As Weavy was relatively new back then, there were no sufficient resources online . Now, after a year, the whole story has changed about weavy.

" Your Project Horizon: A Virtual Classroom truly resembles the best of collaboration. From personal ToDo’s, calendar embedded to classroom integration using weavy spaces, your solution has everything one needs to be a part of the classroom. The 3D Models of Biology provides us the possibility to go beyond conventional online classes and learn with more realistic tools leveraging AR and VR to its best."

What do you like best about Weavy?

It's simply a toolbox of collaboration features you want but don't want to spend your time on building. Easily integrated, adaptable to your app own and needs and constantly updated with great new features. It's like having a separate product team for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

Using the API you can do mostly anything with your own front so there's not much to dislike. However, if there were ready packages and plugins for Flutter that would take away the need for us to build our own front and speed up the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"In-app collaboration at its best"

What do you like best about Weavy?

Very easy to add to our apps, took only days to get chat, feeds, and document collaboration in front of the users. Also easy to customize to our needs, like adding integrations, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

I would like to see more native stuff built on, for example, Swift, and other libraries like React, Angular, etc. - that would speed up development even more. Also, I miss reactions on messages and posts - but I know that it's in the works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The fastest way to create your community platform!"

What do you like best about Weavy?

Weavy comes right out of the box containing all the critical components you need to build a community platform. This means that time to value is incredibly fast for us. Simply insert the Weavy components into your platform and you're ready to go! Without Weavy, we would have spent a year to build this functionality and longer to maintain it. What do you dislike about Weavy?

There are two items that we struggled with. First is Weavy's customization capability. We learned that we needed to update the C# code directly to create a new build with most of the customizations we wanted to perform. Second, we would have preferred to install instantly on AWS, but there were not a lot of instructions for us on how to do this. So instead, we went with a different environment on Azure. I'm happy that we saved you a whole year (!!), and instead focusing on your core business - just what we want. And yes, customizations in the current version is C#, you can do a lot - but you need to master it - but we're working on a new release that's addressing that too. When it comes to Azure, yeah - guilty as charged - we do love Azure, even if it works with AWS - and we should have some proper docs up for that. We'll get back to you on that.
