Above all the greatest features are more about the user experience and easy to use system functions, though Wave.video does have several really powerful tools for helping you create meaningful graphical assets, such as the custom GIF maker, live streaming, and video hosting tools. There really isn't anything specific that I "don't like", though I will say I'd like to see more templates available. While there are quite a few templates available, not to mention you can customize them giving you essentially unlimited options, it would be nice to see more options become available, especially in some of the areas where there are few chocies or essentially the same types of templates currently. I previously used OBS, which made the process a bit complicated. Setting it up was quite difficult. However, after switching to Wave.video, the process became much easier and more user-friendly. This platform is designed to be an all-in-one solution for creating videos easily. I particularly appreciate the text-to-video feature, which generates videos automatically for me, as well as the wide range of templates available to choose from. The video and audio frequently do not align, resulting in a video lagging behind the audio, regardless of whether the audio is from the video or an overlay. Consequently, I cannot be certain that I have the precise arrangement of images, text, and audio that I desire. While editing, reducing the resolution to lessen data usage is understandable. As a small company with limited resources, I find Wave a perfect solution for my video editing needs. It's a cloud-based solution that is easy to use and has many features, including landing pages, hosting with custom domains, text-to-video, auto-captioning, live streaming, and stock photo options. I wish they had more templates to choose from, and I hope they can add a mobile app in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wave Video is the ultimate video editing platform for professionals of all levels. Our user-friendly design makes navigating the forum easy and enjoyable, while our intuitive tools allow you to unleash your creativity. With Wave Video, you can easily drag and drop footage into a timeline that's incredibly simple to manage; from there, you can add motion graphics and effects and even create stunning visuals with 3D animation. And never worry about losing any of your work – we have an automatic save feature that emails you each time a project is saved, so nothing's ever lost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. It meets all of my expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UX is great and there are many unique features that make the designer even more productive. Also the brother tool Animatron is just great for SVG manipulation. Point-to-point SVG manipulation is hard to found out there but they did it right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like picture in picture to be more easy to implement and not through the layouts. I would suggest an approach like Camtasia does with multipled tracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wave is an amazing text-to-video platform that I use almost every single day now. I can start from a blank canvas and go to a fully produced video in just a matter of minutes which is honestly, quite wow. It's super convenient to have all the necessary creation and editing tools all in one platform so that I don't have to export from one software, upload it over cloud and use it on something else - saves a hell lot of time. My work involves repurposing the same content across multiple platforms in an optimized way. Wave helps me achieve that and that too in a super-quick turnaround time. Might need some time to familiarize with the software, but hey, editors can pick on quite easily. Super helpful platform and I highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a significant learning curve involved, It is very beginner friendly, which while good, might put off some experienced video editors. The number of template options available can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wave.video is the easiest video creation tool I've ever used. The editor is simple to use, and literally everything you need is only a click or two away.
Stock photos, videos and music with pre-made templates makes using Wave so amazingly easy.
The ability to create different sizes by simply clicking a button saves time and makes using Wave enjoyable and fun.
The intuitive editor is virtually foolproof and the auto save feature has saved me literally hundreds of times.
Whether you're doing a short promo video or a long tutorial, Wave.video will make you look fantastic!
Additionally, the team at Wave is truthfully so attentive to your feedback that they are continually taking your suggestions and implementing them into the platform.
Last, but certainly not least is the auto captions feature. If you have a video that doesn't have captions, a simple click of the mouse will add captions (which can also be customized to fit your brand) in literally minutes.
I use Wave all the time, and have never been disappointed.
I highly recommend this to my colleagues and friends all the time. If you're thinking about a video tool that you will never replace, you 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 give Wave.video a trial run. I promise you, you will not regret it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Truthfully, there's not much I dislike about Wave. While I could complain about the time it takes to render a video, it would boggle the mind after seeing all the components that were so perfectly put together to look and sound amazing.
This tool makes working with video a joy. Having used other video editing software, I must say that Wave is the most user friendly video editor I have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can edit good, professional-looking short videos for my brand and clients using templates and pre-made audiovisual elements in 1/8 of the time it took me to achieve the same videos in Final Cut or Adobe Premiere.
I have tried other recognized online editor platforms, and while others (like VEED.io) are more advanced in some areas, Wave.video has more templates, features, and a better studio for live and streaming (which also replaces other solutions like OBS, Streamyard, and Streamlabs). Visually not as attractive and modern as VEED.io
Being used to editing in Final Cut and Adobe Premiere, a downgrade in editing dynamics is noticeable.
- The stock videos are not the same quality as those on VEED.io or Envato Elements
- Their stock music isn't the best, either.
- In both cases, finding files with a watermark is possible.
- There is no possibility of doing color correction in a file.
- There is no possibility to edit or mix audio beyond turning up the volume. Tools like a compressor or equalizer are necessary for audio and video editing.
It is noticeable that it still has some features in development.
Its competition already has some superior features that I would love to see Wave soon, such as:
- Remove silences (cut out dead air and okay pauses)
- Full access to all GIPHY Gifs (and not just overlays and stickers)
- Possibility to add several audio and video tracks in the timeline without being attached to the file below.
- Ability to use Mac trackpad gestures to reduce or enlarge the editing timeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to use and the features it provides. Videos are fun to make with Wave.video. I want to do more video just so I can use the fun features of this brilliant service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have to keep my interviews shorter than 15 mins on my subscription which can be difficult to do when we are having fun and enjoying a live video stream chat. I wish I could have a bit longer but cant afford or justify the cost of the higher subscription. Its a little bit pricey but also full of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has the features of many web-based tools (like livestreaming, video editing, text to video, etc...) all housed in on one site with MANY ready-to-go templates. I'm very happy with the ability to upload multiple brand identities, graphics, and color pallets along with the ability to organize these assets into folders. The cons I have are negligble. Being online-only, means always needing (fast) internet access to work on your video editing. Additionally, some transitions for the live-streaming platform aren't as smooth as I would like. Really the live-streaming portion is the most advanced I've seen and still has many of the limitations of we-based streaming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
