I have been using Vyond as an instructional designer for a number of years. In that time I have found a number of ways to use it to greatly enhance my materials. It's constant evolution via its enhancements and new features has enabled me, on numerous occasions, to keep my own content fresh and innovative.

If I had to choose anything, i do find it a little frustrating to see announcements of new features or enhancements (such as new text-to-speech voices) that would seem to be part of my subscription package and then turn out to only be available at a higher subscription level. Vyond is a great tool for designing content, I mostly use it for corporate videos. It is really easy to use, I started learning from scratch but is great it has templates I can use while getting used to the platform. The only thing I can say is the software sometimes makes my computer slow down, I have a basic maachine and is not well-suited for graphic design, so with the software, I see my CPU working a lot more than with other programs and can slow down any other websites and applications I'm using. As a developer I can say this tool helps me create the most animated and engaging videos for training materials. I always get excellent feedback and it definitely helps me look like a professional even if I'm new at video creation. It has a lot of templates, it has AI features, and an incredible diversity of characters, voices, props, sounds, effects that will keep your audience engaged! Vyond is so easy to learn and use. There are lots of choices to choose from in their library of templates, characters, and backgrounds and it makes animation creation a breeze to put together. They are constantly adding to their library as well, with new scenes, characters or props. All of the assets that come right with it - just search and add them right in - amazing!! Text to speech - voices are decent and easy to update and use. This levels us up to what our marketing team outsources. We have the other tools but we need this is a level up. I am just learning and love most everything else. Implementation was quick - no set up. Customer support has been good. I haven't integrated but seems like you can export and upload to other software with ease as an MP4. Pheonetic library is needed, with the ability for the cpations to remain without needing updating. We can always use more female AI voices - there are a couple, and several decent males. Sometimes there is a lag in the web based paltform where you sit a wait. I also want to see functionality added where logo's can work on hardhats (they don't for us), more construction or hvac specific scenes but you can make your own scenes and save them. I wish it had the ability to select multiple tracks and make longer or shorter when doing so, and/or a play to the end so you don't need to individually drag them - it would be a huge time saver for me. I also like the contemporary characters more than the business friendly - my guess is the contemporary are newer. I've found at times they have less features that then the buisiness which to us seems cartoonish. The AI text to video is good but not good enough for us to use - yet. You can't add link to my knowledge - if you want them to go to a webpage or link to a file, you'd need to add it after somehow. I am just learning and love most everything else. Vyond is a program that doesn't take long to learn the basics. You can use the Vyond Go feature to create an animated video from scratch or use the full editor to start from blank scenes and build everything out as you like. The character lip-sync feature is pretty amazing and makes conversation look professional. How helpful it is to create several videos for creating interactive trainings and also being able to be used as a voice over tool or character generator I mix it with Articulate Storyline

Only has basic video edition tools like I'm not able to easily navigate through the timeline so when I add videos or images into vyond it's really hard to animate them to keep synergy in the movement with vyond elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vyond is an absolute revolution for any animation creator who wants to gain efficiency without sacrificing quality. For someone like me who uses this tool intensively to create illustrative animations for my training sessions, Vyond is simply irreplaceable. Vyond is useful but also has some limitations that can be frustrating. Although the interface is generally intuitive, some functions clearly lack ergonomics. For example, editing dialogues requires a complex key combination (CTRL-SHIFT-A), whereas a simple double-click on the soundtrack would be much more natural and convenient.

Moreover, although the richness of the library of pre-animated elements is impressive, it is necessary to have an advanced subscription to access the best features. This somewhat limits flexibility and creativity for those with a basic subscription, making the tool less accessible for users who would simply like to experiment or start with complete resources. The best feature to me this far is the AI Generative feature. It allows you to upload a document adn with the click of a button, VYOND creates an editable video and script which saves you time going through the creative process. I was able to use this feature to pitch a project that would reduce the onboarding process at our company. I do find it easy and it was easy to implement as it's a web based subscription. The only thing I dislike about VYOND is that there isn't a huge variety in industrial scenes and find myself using the same business friendly industrial for multiple projects. It would also be nice to be able to modify some of the background of the stock scenes or to be able to build your own scenes pieces of the stock backgrounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
